River Clean Up

Saturday, March 23, 2019
It’s that time of year again when we partner up to help make a dent in the debris in the Santa Cruz River.  Friends of the Santa Cruz River have rallied the troops to meet Saturday like we did last January, see the details below and the flyer is attached.

We need to assist with parking so if you’re available to meet at 8:30am and help until everyone’s parked, email  Michael Dunn at dunn.levey@gmail.com.  We also need to help at the end of the event to make sure everything gets loaded into the dumpster.  So, if you can come a little later or just plan on staying until 1-2pm until we’re done, that works too.  THANK YOU for volunteering!

WHEN: SATURDAY March 23, 2019
TIME: 9:00 AM
WHERE TO PARK: MEDITERRA TILE WORKS, 2013 Frontage Road, just north of Tumacácori Mesquite Sawmill

We’ll be working east of the Sawmill and Mediterra.  PLEASE BE PROMPT!
There will be a safety briefing & team assignments. Wear sturdy shoes, hat, and work gloves, if you have them. Bring a reusable bottle. We will provide water for refills.

Check foscraz.org, Friends of the Santa Cruz River Facebook page for updates or call Sherry 520-979- 9214.
